One recent, exciting development under the AMW umbrella involves the launch of our Continence Care Services company, Extended Care Group, Inc. Extended Care Group, Inc offers specialized continence services by highly trained providers delivered directly to Long Term Care facilities. These services bring the most thorough assessment, evaluation and diagnostic solutions to the residents of long term care. It is the mission of Extended Care Group, Inc to reduce the incidence of incontinence among the geriatric patient population. Problems associated with incontinence include; falls while toileting, recurrent urinary tract infections, depression and skin deterioration. The ECG program combines the disciplines of geriatric, urologic and gynecologic evidence-based medicine in the capable hands of Continence Care Nurse Practitioners.
